How it all happened...

Bill met Carolyn in 1986




and
they got married



in Thailand and Australia in 1992

- they have 4 kids
and now... they look like

William Francis O'Leary met Carolyn Patricial Hewitt on Hamilton Island in 1986. He was 25 and she was 19. He drove the tourist boats and she managed the helicopter operations flying to the Great Barrier Reef.
They were introduced by Bill's best friend Jimmy Blee and there began the great adventure they still share today.

They married in 1992 and are blessed with 4 amazing children, all born in Bangkok.

Timothy John is the eldest - Born on 15th March is 17 years old

Tim is a year 12 IB student at New International School (NIST) Bangkok. He's studying Thai language and will attempt to complete his IB diploma in both languages.
 
 
He loves the ocean
 
 
 
and to sail and ride jetskis
 
 
and to Scuba dive
 
 
And go fishing...
 
 
That's a pair of GT's - one 27 pounds!
 
 
Tim loves to act, play the piano and guitar and sing. When he hears a song he likes, he sits down at the piano and immediately learns how to play it - within minutes.

But most of all - Tim loves to play golf -- and he's bloody good at it...



 

 
He's currently playing off scratch handicap. 0.2 to be exact - Yes, that's Zero point two. Tim's actively looking for Universities in USA hopefully to secure a full or partial scholarship for 2010 to study Business Administration in sales and marketing.

Then there's Bronty Josephine - born on 9th September.
At 15, she's the eldest of three O'Leary daughters.



She's fantasmagorically amazing in every way...


 

BRONTY JOSEPHINE O'LEARY ROCKS! and she must have been a fish in her last life because she's an amazing SCUBA diver - so comfortable under the water.
 
 
 
"Look everyone. A rock!"

 

 

She has made some amazing friends where she goes to school at Harvard Westlake but none as close as her BFF Megan Ward

Bronty lives in LA with a wonderful family who have opened their doors and hearts so Bronty can get a decent education in America.
 
Tony and Jeannie Pritzker are host-parents to Bronty and she's become a part of their incredibly generous and loving extened family.
 
We thank all the Pritzkers and their staff for their love and support of Bronty Josephine. They've given Bronty a life experience she'll never forget.

 

 
But, then again Bronty Josephine O'Leary is a simply amazing young lady.
 
A cheerful and caring spirit who endears herself to everyone lucky enough to meet her
 
Oh Yeah, Bronty's a bit eccentric and crazy funny in an infectious kind of way.

Then there's Meg Julia who lives with Mum and Dad
 
 
She was born on 21st January, is 11 years old and goes to the British School Phuket

 
Meg loves to act and dance.

She recently played the lead role of 'Cinderella' at the school musical - she's a legend.
 
We didn't get that on video but we got some of her as the Mayor of the Munchkin City in the BIS production of "The Wizard of Oz".

Loves animals with a passion and she loves a laugh

Then last, but certainly not least of the O'Leary kids is

Mia Patricia - our 'maxed-out' 7-year-old. Birthday 2nd of November

 

Mia loves animals too. 

Mia is in charge of the family - she's an awesome 6 year old who will probably run for office on day.

 

 

 

Mia is a fantastic swimmer. Like a fish.

Age group champion trophies all over her room.

 




 Best summed up as being 'a million miles an hour'! Mia has an insatiable appetite for learning and not being left out of the fun.

 

Did I mention Mia Loves to Sing.

Oh, yeah - almost forgot the tribe of completley brain-dead dysfunctional Thai street-dogs.




'Bangtao' and 'Sonlarm' are our stray K-9 psychopaths, but we love them anyways.

Well, kind of... 'Sonlarm' is a total fruitcake. He bit a rubber-worker up the street and cost us a lot of money, so he's been bannished back to Bang Tao for Khun Kew to look after. Hope the Muslim head man dosn't shoot at him again - he ate his cat.
